Why Use KH Down?
Softens Water – Reduces carbonate hardness to create optimal conditions for species like discus, bettas and certain shrimps.
Helps control pH levels, reducing the risk of sudden CO2 fluctuations.
Many aquarium plants prefer lower KH, improving nutrient uptake and overall health.
How to Use KH Down
Test Water Parameters – Measure KH using Aquavascular KH test kit before adding the product.
Use KH down with the lights on. Turn off the CO2 injection as it generates CO2 when reacts with Carbonates.
Dosage – 5ml for 50 litres to decrease KH by 1.0 dKH. It is advised to bring KH drop gradually without causing drastic pH swings.
 
Monitor & Adjust – Regularly check KH and pH levels to maintain a stable and healthy environment.
